Need Transport?

Here’s a couple of alternative options, if you’re unable to get to us in a car:

Call Connect is a local mini bus service that picks up from Skegness train station and will bring you to us and back again for the same price as a bus fare. They operate from Monday – Saturday and must be booked in advance by calling 0345 234 3344

1st Choice Cabs is our recommended taxi company if you’re coming by train and need a taxi to us from Wainfleet, Skegness or Boston. Call them on 01754 456456

The local Lincs Bus service is available, but does not drop off directly at or near the Park unfortunately. Therefore, the nearest stop from this service is Friskney village centre, with a two mile (approx) walk to the Park from there.

We try to offer the most up-to-date facilities and services, helping to make your experience with us a comfortable and enjoyable one. If you need any advice or have any suggestions about the facilities on offer, then please visit our  enquiries page to get in touch and we would be happy to help where we can.

A uniquely designed family refuelling spot, The Rainforest Diner serves a wide variety of hot & cold food to suit everyone. With plenty of indoor & outdoor seating for large or small parties, sit back in a relaxing environment & watch our latest park news on the TV’s while the children explore the vivariums! Check out our Facebook page or use the contact form to see the menu!

Baby/Child Facilities

We have fully equipped facilities for baby changing, with a station in our ladies toilets as well as in our disabled toilet for universal changing. Pushchairs can be left in the reception courtyard, however all belongings and children are the responsibility of the parent/guardian while on the premises. For added security, we have a “lost child” point outside our reception offices.

Children’s Play Area

Newly installed in 2020! Our play area has had a revamp with an amazing new pyramid climbing frame and natural safe-wood activity frames. The area has ample seating benches in fun, vibrant colours for picnics. It is situated near The Rainforest Diner so you could grab a take-away drink, meal or snack to enjoy while the children play.

Walkthrough Aviaries

We now have two aviaries which are by far the most popular parts of your visitor experience. Enter the world of parrots by taking some treats into the aviary and feed over 100 free flying birds that will have no worries in making you their feeding perch. Time and time again you will enter to be with these wonderful birds! Take a great snap and post it on our social media pages using #lincswildlifepark

Animal Snax

At Lincolnshire Wildlife Park we give you the opportunity for a real one-to-one experience with our birds and animals. We have a brand new Snax Shack next door to The Rainforest Diner where you can buy treats for the parrots, walk-through aviary, meerkats and the fish in Ivanvale lake. All of our treats are £2.00 each or 4 for £7, and you can get some great photos as they come over to eat them!

Gift / Souvenir Shop

Visit our fully stocked ‘Zoovenir’ gift shop within The Rainforest Diner before you leave for the day. It’s full of all things parroty for that special little memento of your fun day out. If its not parrots you are thinking of then don’t worry, there’s 100’s of wild gifts to suit everyone from Nanny or Grandad down to little sister and to suit all pockets. Why not grab a sandwich to-go or perhaps a hot or cold drink for the journey too!

 Ivanvale Nature Reserve

The Ivanvale Nature Reserve is a wonderful conservation project that has been created by the charity as an added feature for visitors. Situated in 11 acres of Lincolnshire countryside, we have planted over 8,000 trees of many indigenous species to encourage as much wildlife as possible. The trees are situated around a fabulous lake, where all manner of birds are arriving and making it their home annually.

Wild4Learning Hub

If you’re Wild4Learning, then visit our Volunteer Head Fundraiser Eileen in the hub for fun and games! With tombola’s, raffles, gifts and activities, it’s a great stop-off on your journey around the park. Plus, you can view our Otter and Tapir enclosure through the viewing windows, for a different angle on these wonderful animals. All proceeds made in the hub are donated to the animals!

(Open during peak times only)
