Come and watch the Dakota Fly-Past
We are very proud to have secured a Battle of Britain Memorial flypast of the incredible C-47 Dakota aircraft, in celebration of VE and Armed Forces Day. The Dakota represents the dogged work of the RAF’s military transport aircraft and crews and has recently had an overhaul with new markings for 2025. The Dakota first flew in 1935 and is a miltary version of the DC-3 airliner. The C-47 Dakota III ZA947 is the last of its type serving with the RAF.
Flypast time is yet to be confirmed, watch this space!

If you are an avid photographer, interested in aircraft or wartime memorabilia or just want to help us celebrate the amazing forces personel, past and present, then come along for a day out. You can enjoy our wonderful natural surroundings and animals, have a bite to eat in our Rainforest Diner and then watch this incredible aircraft as it flies over our park. There is no extra charge for the day, enjoying the flypast is included in your ticket price to support our charity.
Please note: we welcome anyone to enjoy the park but ask that you do not use our car park to park up and watch the flypast if you are not entering the wildlife park itself. Those using the carpark without visiting the wildlife park will be politely asked to leave.
