Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator
Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is seeking a Video Editor and Social Media Content Creator to join our team and help develop engaging digital content for our large and growing online audience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate in media, film, digital content, or similar who wants to gain real-world experience producing content in a unique wildlife setting.
Position Details:
Hours: 35 hours per week (9am–5pm)
Salary: From £24,000 per annum depending on experience and skill set
Holiday: All statutory entitlements
Role Overview
The successful candidate will help create engaging video content using both newly filmed footage and our extensive wildlife media archive.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms
Create engaging content from our large video archive
Film new footage around the park when required
Assist with content ideas and storytelling across platforms
Prepare videos suitable for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
Requirements:
Experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, PowerDirector or similar)
Strong interest in social media and digital storytelling
Creative mindset and ability to work independently
Filming skills
Interest in wildlife or conservation advantageous
Location: The park is situated in a rural location with no public transport access, therefore applicants must have their own reliable transport.

Animal Keeper & Education Officer
12 month contract
We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Animal Keeper and Education Officer to join our team. Parrots are at the forefront of all that we do, so we are looking for a keeper that is confident in working with Psittacines and to lead in delivering our educational material for schools; for immediate start.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week.
Rate of pay: National Living Wage
Contract: 12 months
What is involved?
We are The Parrot Zoo Trust, a registered charity for the rehoming and rehabilitation of Parrots and other exotic species. Therefore, you will be working mainly with a psittacine collective. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and passionate, able to work outdoors in all weathers to care for and enrich the animals within the park. Working with animals can be very physically demanding and will involve a high volume of cleanliness & manual labour when clearing, re-bedding and maintaining enclosures. Applicants will also take lead on developing and delivering educational material to school and college groups, including but not limited to key stages 1, 2 and 3.
What is expected of you?
We are looking for a candidate with a special interest and passion for animals and education. We are The Parrot Zoo Trust, so confidence around bird species is a must. It is beneficial to have gained a qualification in Animal Care or Husbandry & provide evidence of any academic achievements relating to this role, but all applicants will be considered. Part of this role will be to work closely with work experience students and volunteers of the charity, as well as the general public in the form of school and group bookings or experiences. We expect our staff to conduct themselves in a timely & professional manner at all times while representing our charity.
