The Grinchmas Switch-on
The Grinch has promised to steal Christmas before Santa get a chance to turn the lights on! Please come along to the Park to spread Christmas cheer alongside our elves and stop the Grinch from taking over! You won’t be disappointed, with plenty of activities in Elf HQ, a festive market with some amazing local businesses and reduced ticket prices to kick of the festivities.
- Held on Saturday 28th November only from 12pm, the park closes at 5:30pm.
- The lights will be switched on by Santa at 4:30pm.
- The market will be open from 12pm with an array of different Christmas themed gifts and treats.
- Tickets are £10.00 for adults and £5.00 for children for the day and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount voucher. All tickets include a hot chocolate and mince pie!
- The Rainforest Diner will be serving hot food until 3pm, then drinks and snacks until 5pm. North Paul’s kiosk will be open from 12pm – 5:30pm for snacks, drinks and marshmallow toasting!
Santa’s Grotto
Our magical Santa’s Grotto is the most beautiful experience for families to enjoy. Santa’s grotto is hidden within the trees of the enchanted forest and surrounded by festive sparkle, not to mention our real Reindeer, fire pit for marshmallow toasting and Elf HQ for crafts, story time and Mrs Claus’ Cookie Creations. Please check all the details below before booking:
- The grotto is available to book online for 5th, 6th, 12th 13th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd December between 12pm – 4:30pm.
- The grotto is £15.00 per child as standard and a time slot must be booked online. We cannot guarantee space on the day without pre-booking.
- Children will see Santa within the grotto and adults are welcome to take photos. All children receive a gift from Santa that will be age approriate.
- Additional adult tickets are charged at our standard December entry rates of £1.00 on weekdays and £5.00 on weekends.
- You can choose a time slot for the grotto, so please only choose a time that you are certain you can attend. Do not queue at the grotto any earlier than 15 minutes before your chosen time e.g. if you are booked for 12pm, please queue for the grotto no earlier than 11:45am. Your tickets will be checked by our elves and you may be turned away if you queue too early.
- time slots are every 15 minutes, which means you will be queuing with other families and may not see Santa at the exact time on your ticket.
- We take your child’s details upon booking for the purpose of our interactive nice list and to ensure suitable gifts are allocated. If you have any queries about this then please call us to discuss it. To find out more about how we use your data, please see our full Data Protection Policy.
- Santa’s Grotto is within the Enchanted Forest and will be open irrespective of weather conditions, so please wear suitable warm clothing and footwear, as queueing will be mostly outdoors but covered. Please understand that there may be extended waiting times during busy periods.
Mini Monday’s
Back by popular demand, our Mini Monday sessions are a great morning for parents of younger children or childcare groups looking for a quieter festive day out. Meet Santa in Elf HQ and receive a special gift. Don’t forget to stop off for crafts and creation and enjoy a hot drink or snack from North Paul’s kiosk.
- Only available on 7th and 14th December and Santa will meet the children between 12pm – 1pm.
- The Mini Monday Meet Santa is charged at £7.50 per child as standard.
- Available for children under 5 years of age only.
- Additional adult tickets are charged at our standard December entry rate of £1.00 per person.
- The Park will be open irrespective of weather conditions, so please wear suitable warm clothing and footwear.
Park Entry
Our gift to you! Hugely discounted Park entry throughout December, to help ease the pressure of Christmas and make way for a fun, festive day out for everyone. Enjoy a festively wild day out with us, meeting the animals as you walk around our beautiful countryside surroundings, including big cats, mammals, reptiles, parrots and of course, real Reindeer.
- Discounted Park entry starts on Sunday 29th November until Thursday 24th December and prices may vary.
- Opening hours are 9:30am – 5pm daily until 23rd Dec, then 10am – 2pm on 24th Dec (Christmas Eve).
- Park entry must be booked online, we cannot guarantee entry for those arriving on the day.
- Tickets are non-refundable but may be tranferrable if we have availability. However, we cannot guarantee transfers.
- Children under 3 years of age are free of charge, so you do not need to book a ticket for them.
