Christmas Volunteers!
Are you looking for some work experience, that extra boost of confidence, something worthwhile to do this festive season? Then why not join our team for one of the most magical times of the year while doing something amazing to help our charity and the animals within it.
What is involved?
Throughout the month of December, we have our Santa’s grotto open, North Paul’s snack kiosk and Elf HQ as the hub for activities and bookings. Therefore, there’s a wealth of experience in different sectors to get involved with. Whether you love socialising, have a catering interest or have always dreamed of becoming an elf, there’s something for everyone. You would be assisting our LWP team with ensuring our visitors have the best experience possible, while having fun yourself!
What are the hours?
We can be really flexible and appreciate any help given throughout the whole month of December. However, our Grotto is open on weekends from 11am – 5pm until 23rd Dec, so this is the most needed times. If you can’t do weekends then don’t worry as we have lots of weekday opportunities too!
Are there any restrictions?
Yes, unfortunately you will need to be 16 years or over to apply for volunteering. Please also understand that you will not be directly working with our animals, this role is to assist the staff with events.
How to apply
Please email [email protected] with your available dates for the month of December and any previous experience you may have. We will then guide you through the process and may arrange a telephone or face-to-face meeting with you to have a chat.
