We are looking for an experienced Animal Keeper to join our charity at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park. We are a well established wildlife park for the rescue and rehoming of Parrots and exotic species. A career at our wildlife park is a unique opportunity to work alongside many species of bird and animal, with a focus on our charity values as ‘The Parrot Zoo Trust’. Parrots are at the forefront of all that we do, so we are looking for a keeper that is confident in working with Psittacinae.

Working with animals can be very physically demanding and will involve a high volume of cleanliness & manual labour when clearing, re-bedding and maintaining enclosures. You will be expected to perform health and safety checks, maintain a high level of hygiene throughout the park, provide enrichment and nutrition to the animals & work as part of a team.
What is expected of you?
We are looking for a candidate with a special interest and passion for animals, especially Parrots and birds. We are The Parrot Zoo Trust, so confidence around bird species is a must. You will be expected to have gained a qualification in Animal Care or Husbandry & provide evidence of any academic achievements relating to this role.
